SUBSTITUTIONS
- 1st of August – event day: A R800 substitution fee is applicable should you wish to transfer your entry to another person and garment size changes will only be made should stock be available.
- Athlete’s details: name & surname, ID, DOB, email, postal address, age, cell number, ( goodie bag tshirt sizes will not be changed )
- Change from Otter Challenge to Otter Run: cost difference + R 300 admin fee. (if places available)
- Change from Otter Run to Otter Challenge: R 300 admin fee. (if places available).
PAYMENT OPTIONS AND REFUND POLICY
- Full payment is required on entry.
- 85% of entry fee paid will be refunded if an entry is cancelled in writing on or before the 1 May 2014.

Entry Procedure and Online Entry Schedule
A total of 220 entries are presented for the Otter Run and another 220 for the Challenge 2014.
Please note: 40 entries will be reserved for overseas elite participants, invited and sponsored athletes.

PHASE 1: Priority List *
- On Tuesday, 1st of October 2013 at midday (12.00 hours), Priority List opens to anybody who would like to increase his/her chance to obtain an entry for the OTTER. (cost R 100 to event nominated charity).

PHASE 2: 2013 participants Entries
- On Tuesday 15 October 2013, at midday (12.00 hours) online entries will open to 2013 Otter participants.
We have sent an email to all 2013 participants with their early entry code – should you not have received it, please contact us.

PHASE 3: Priority List* Entries
- On Friday 18 October 2013, at midday (12.00 hours) online entries will be opened to athletes who registered on the “priority list” on a first come first serve basis.
- A minimum number of 50 places will be made available, however the maximum number of entries available = 180 (per event) minus the total number of entries from PHASE 2
- Note that athletes registered on the “priority list” * that are unsuccessful in entering during PHASE 2 & 3 will automatically be placed on the “waiting list” **.
- Athletes listed on the waiting list will be contacted and given the opportunity to enter should a place become available in through a lottery system.
- PHASE 4: Public Entries (if available)
- On Tuesday 29 October 2013 from midday (12.00 hours) online entries will be opened to public on a first come first serve basis.
- Maximum Entries = 180 (per event) minus the total number of entries from PHASES 2&3
- Persons not successful in entering during PHASE 4 should register on the “Waiting List”
- Athletes listed on the waiting list will be contacted and given the opportunity to enter should a place become available in the order of their original listing.
* PRIORITY LIST
The priority lists for the Otter is for persons wishing to increase their chances of obtaining an entry for these events by registering on these lists and thereby being afforded the opportunity to enter 14 days before online entries open to the public. Registration on the Priority List costs R100 which will be donated to the event nominated charities (Landmark Foundation, Nature’s Valley Trust and MCSA) . Registration on the priority list only affords persons registered on the list the opportunity to enter before online entries are opened to the public and is no guarantee of obtaining an entry. Priority List entries must be done online and are treated on a first come basis. Persons registered on the priority list that are not successful in obtaining an online entry will automatically be transferred onto the Waiting list and entered into the monthly draw for places that may become available.
**WAITING LIST
Persons unsuccessful in obtaining an entry online may register on the waiting list. Registration on the Waiting List costs R100 which will be donated to the event nominated charities (Landmark Foundation, Nature’s Valley Trust and MCSA). Persons listed on the waiting list will be entered into a monthly draw for any places that may become available. Winners of the draw will be contacted and be given 48 hours to enter. Failure to enter within 48 hours will lead to removal from the list.
WHAT Entries that become available through cancellation are offered on a lottery format in a monthly draw.
WHO Persons intent on doing the Otter 2013 who were unable to get an entry due to the event being sold out.
WHEN Waiting List will open when no further entries available.
COST Waiting List Registration fee R100.00
